33,738 Posts in AP Govt Sector to be Filled by APPSC, AP DSC, APSLPRB
Hyderabad: Government of Andhra
Pradesh gave green signal to fill 33,738 government posts. The posts
will be filled through direct recruitment method. State Public Service
Commission, State Police Recruitment Council and District Selection
Committee will take up the recruitments. The 33,738 posts include Group
1, Group 2, Group 4 posts in approved 34 branches and also other
gazetted, non-gazetted and technical categories. Government of Andhra
Pradesh decided to fill 1.20 lakh jobs but could select candidates for
only 52,000 posts.
Among the 33,738 posts, a total of
11,250 posts will be filled through APPSC including the Group 1,2 and 4
posts. According to a GO issued, 11,623 posts will be filled though
Police Recruitment Board. Another special notification will be issued
in October, 2013 for teachers recruitment. 10, 865 posts will be filled
though Department Selection Committee.
Government used to follow the
recruitment procedure method of filling the vacant posts department
wise. But the process was taking a longer time. Thus the government
issued a notification mentioning the details of vacancies in various
departments. The department heads now have to give the details of
vacancies mentioned in the notification to recruitment boards. The
details will contain zonal, district wise vacancies, roaster points and
educational qualifications.

- Senior accountant in financial department – 273
- Lecturers – 617
- Junior lecturers – 4,523
- Physical directors – 325
- Civil Assistant Surgeons – 575
- Junior Assistants in irrigation department – 256
- Excise SI posts – 314
- APSC constables – 3,848
- AR Constables – 1,254
- Civil constables – 4,661
- Communication constables – 748
- Junior plant attendants – 748
- Agriculture development officers – 393
- MPHA, ANM – 2,234
- Civil Assistant Surgeons (DSC) – 1,140
- Lab Technicians Grade II – 935
- Pharmacists Grade II – 894
- Staff Nurse – 580
AP Public Service commission will fill
up 11,250 posts, Police Recruitment board will recruit 11,623 posts and
District Selection Committees will take up 10, 865 posts. Chief Minister
N Kiran Kumar Reddy made this announcement few days back and the GO
relating to GO Ms No. 132 on June 3. Notification for recruiting these
posts will be issued soon.
